Wednesday BOLD LAW…” Success is simple…not easy “
Returning to the words of wisdom from the book ” The Slight Edge ” , and I quote , The difference between success and failure is not dramatic. In fact, the difference between success and failure is so subtle, most people miss it. They hold to the philosophy that what they do doesn’t really matter. The truth is, what you do matters. What you do today matters. What you do everyday matters. ”
It’s been said that first we make our choices and then our choices make us.
The simple best choices we make and the habits we form, good and bad , determine our levels of success. Form enough simple habits and over time, they overshadow most bad habits. It’s the same principle of compound interest…those daily choices and habits done repeatedly lead to massive differences over an extended period of time.
Most people don’t want to copy the repetitive tasks that are simple. Repetitious boredom leads to massive success. Think of a great golfer…repeating the same swing in practice thousands of times that no one sees but him. he does that so , under big time pressure on a Sunday afternoon with millions watching and a million dollars on the line, he can hit that shot he needs to hit , just once in a four day tournament to win it all ! Everyone wants to copy that one moment because it looks so easy, right ? But they don’t want the blisters, the pain , the boredom of repetition, the work it takes….to make it look easy.
What can you do today that really is simple…and you know will lead you to success ?
