Following a schedule allows you to control your time and your day. To not follow a schedule means your day and others are controlling you.
How can you be as productive as you wish to be when you allow time to control you? That’s being reactive , not proactive. That is playing defensively , not offensively. Yes, ” they ” say that defense wins championships and ” they ” also say that the best defense is a good offense. It is hard to score when you don’t have the ball.
In real estate, possessing the ball means that you have a predetermined schedule before the day begins. You have a plan. Even a weak plan is better than no plan at all ! Plan your work and work your plan.
Following a schedule means that you are on the offense, you are on the go…and if something throws you off your schedule ( and this can happen hourly ) , you determine how and what and when you will handle that distraction and how quickly you get back on the offensive.
