Thursday BOLD LAW…” Keep your emotions between the lines”
As we work on keeping our emotions under control, not too high and not too low, we must remember that the most important conversation that we will have all day is the one that we have with ourselves everyday. And this is not just the first or last one we have with ourselves, it’s also the running commentary that we have all day long inside our heads.
If we allow ourselves to get out of kilter , it’s going to be that much more difficult to be a calming presence to others isn’t it ? Be good to yourself.Don’t be so harsh on yourself that it throws you out of whack. Sure, have some goals and guidelines and be realistic as you measure your progress but don’t be so judgemental on yourself that you become depressed and a burden to others.
On the other side, keep your ego in check. There is ALWAYS going to be someone who is better, more successful, better looking, richer, faster, stronger, healthier…you get my drift…just compare yourself to you…who were you yesterday and can you be better than that today ? Take the good with the bad, laugh at yourself ( because we are funny !) and remember the big picture.Keep that airplane and it’s passengers (you) safe as you encounter the storms of life on your way to your destination.
You win when you keep your emotions between the lines.
