This week’s BOLD LAW… ” No pressure, no diamonds “
If you watched the Super Bowl last night, Kansas City was unable to put any pressure on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers and they got no diamonds ! Conversely , the Tampa Bay defense applied all kinds of pressure all night on Patrick Mahomes and the Bucs took home all the diamonds !!! Congrats to you Buccaneer fans !
When you apply a little pressure to anything , good results occur. Sometimes , pressure is thought of as a bad stressful word such as ” I’m under a little pressure “. Others say ” I work best under pressure “. A little more concentration or focus on a task that needs to be performed is a good thing.
In prehistoric times , all that weight of the shale that compressed over time yielded diamonds. A full court press in basketball applies pressure and creates havoc and panic on the other team and yields turnovers and points to the team that applies the pressure. Applying pressure to a cut stops the bleeding faster. Proper pressure used during CPR has saved many a life ! Putting a little more pressure on yourself to work a little longer or a little harder or a little smarter can produce tremendous results !
So, next time you hear the word pressure , don’t automatically take a negative look at it. The right pressure at the right time can yield you all kinds of diamonds , whatever those diamonds are to you !
No pressure , no diamonds !
