Friday BOLD LAW from KW MAPS NLP Coach George Gillas…” Do what you’ve always done and you”ll get what you’ve always gotten “

For the last 18 months, I’ve been sending out a daily inspirational email that is centered on a BOLD LAW to fellow real estate agents, friends ,clients and family. I have always wanted to come from contribution and it’s my goal that by sharing my daily thought, maybe it will help just one person , somewhere, every single day. And, every once in awhile , one or two of you send back a reassuring note of encouragement. Thank you for those as those emails give me the motivation to continue.One of you recently said ” One man’s steak is another man’s spam ! ”

Do what you’ve always done and you’ll get what you’ve always gotten

One of the foundational beliefs of NLP is that everyone has the resources inside them to solve their problems and overcome their own challenges. It’s just that between where they are and the said resources, there is a block.

One of the basic premises of MAPS is that our clients are creative, resourceful, and whole. See the connections between NLP and MAPS?

If we have the resources inside, would it then be fair to say that all we need to do is ask the right questions to be able to tap that knowledge? And, if we want to get different results, don’t we need different actions? Since actions are preceded by feelings and thoughts; if we change the thoughts we’ll ultimately get different actions, right?

Rather than focusing on what to do, let’s work with some questions to ask yourself – for different results.

When this ‘health event’ finally clears (and it will), what do you want your business to look like?
Who do need to become or how do you need to think differently to have this?
What ONE THING can you do today to definitively move you in that direction?

Or this:
What can I control?
What can’t I control?
What am I seeking to control that I cannot control?
What am I not controlling that I can control?
What ONE THING can I choose to control now?

This is the time to do more than you’ve ever done. Double, triple, even quadruple your lead gen – make the “care calls” or “relationship strengthening calls” to your database. The scripts are out there… use them. If you just do what you’ve always done… you’ll be left in the dust when this clears.

It’s time to control what you can. It starts with your mindset. How you choose to interpret the world is entirely up to you. Get mindset right first (SHIFT Tactic 1) and do the things that are proven to work. Just do more of them than you ever have — and you’ll get your unfair share when the dust settles.
