Expansion has been on everyone’s mind since the last day of our August 2018 Mega Camp. That’s where Keller Williams Realty President and CEO John Davis announced new ideas for expansion, including the virtual office, reduced caps, additional value through live training, and top tech tools.

What is expansion in real estate? It’s real estate without borders. Expansion is about agents who built businesses super hyperlocal, and then found their leads and their leaders required growth – growth without any borders.

Fortunately, we are with a company that promotes a willingness to allow your business to get as big as it needs to get in order for all of the people in your company to get what they want. There are no ceilings. No borders. Just Growth.

Look at the growth of expansion since Keller Williams Realty Co-founder and Chairman of the Board Gary Keller and I launched expansion from Family Reunion in 2014. It’s the hockey stick! Remember, Gary says you can be anywhere you want to be within five years. At The Kristan Cole Real Estate Network, we want to be in 100 locations with 500 expansion partners by 2022.

I’m sure some people left Mega Camp scratching their heads and asking, “What does all of this mean?”

I believe those who have an abundance mentality* like I do heard, “MORE”…more for the agents, more for the market centers, more for the teams, and more for the expansion business owners.

While all of the details weren’t released, the direction of the company to support the agent, the market center owners, and the expansion business owners at a new level was evident.

The virtual office will allow expansion business owners to expand and grow without any ceilings – to grow with the protection that any business owner would want, and with the financial structure that allows everyone to flourish. While the virtual office is something that was identified three years ago as necessary for expansion business owners to thrive, it is now also required to stay competitive and at the top of the industry.

I love that Gary Keller and John Davis are willing to invite input and then quickly pivot when necessary.

More details will be coming out. Please feel free to email me at Worldwide@Thekristancolenetwork.com with any questions you may have about expansion, KCN, the virtual office, and/or if you are interested in becoming part of our KCN expansion world. We want to support your growth and get you where you want to go!

*The term abundance mentality was coined by Stephen Covey in his 1989 book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. He defined it as “a concept in which a person believes there are enough resources and successes to share with others.”
